Relationships, Identity, and Sexuality
At Inner Lakes, we are affirming and educated on all different types of relationships, identities and sexualities and strive to be a safe place for folks of marginalized identities to seek treatments. Clinicians under this specialty dedicate much of their continuing education to focusing on the self and relationships of all types. Whether you are having difficulty maintaining friendships, adjusting to parenthood, thinking about gender, wanting to try out non-monogamy and more, these clinicians may be a great fit for you.
Our team is sorted into three tiers of payment so we can offer the most accessible services possible.

These therapists provide services for a flat fee of $70 for those unable to access insurance or have other financial or systemic barriers to therapy. They possess LMSW-level clinical experience, receive supervision from LCSW mentors, and often share identities with the clients they serve. Tier 1 clinicians are unable to accept insurance.

This program is dedicated to clients who would like to use their insurance.
Tier 2 clinicians accept Aetna, Cigna, Empire BCBS, Excellus BCBS, Highmark BCBS of Western NY, Highmark BCBS of Eastern NY, Oxford, Optum, Oscar, and United Healthcare insurances, and are experienced in a wide range of treatment issues.
They also offer income-based self pay or out of networks rates.

These clinicians are specialists, with multiple advanced trainings in their area of expertise, and are available to take clients via self pay or out of network reimbursement for $100-300 per session. You are able to decide on your length of session with your therapist, the standard ranging from 30 to 60 minutes. The ultimate cost is determined by length of session, circumstances of client, and income of client. Specific pricing can be found here.
